CA Technologies Branding, Copyright, Product Name and MF 2.0 Changes
The following items describe what has been done to CA Mainframe Application Tuner to CA-ize it and make it compliant with the CA MF 2.0 serviceability initiatives:
- Changed the copyright notices and product names in all panels, help screens, messages, samples, CLISTs, REXX members, and batch reports. This includes documentation.
- Changed the current license checking in the product to use LMP keys.
- Changed the low-level qualifiers for all of the SMP/E product data sets to comply with the latest CA Technologies packaging standard for z/OS products delivered by SMP/E. A complete list of target and distribution libraries can be found in the Installation Guide.
- Added the CA Technologies standard serviceability eye-catcher to each SMP/E-delivered module element showing the module name, product name, FMID, RMID, compile date and time, and copyright notice.
- Updated to read and display information from the new format any programs that display information from the current load module eye catch section, such as PTF level.
- Invoked the common dump title formatter, if the service is available, in the event of an unexpected failure or when applicable to each recovery routine in the product.
- Created a Product Description Module (PDM) and installed it into a common area that can be accessed by CA Auditor at customer sites.
