JCL Example

Convert the user-provided input to internal format by running step 1 of job APCIJIFU, as shown following.

In the first step, the provided IMS transaction information is checked for data validation and converted to the required format for further processing.

Be sure to make the following changes:

• Change the data set prefix, YOUR.APC, to the prefix of your environment.
• Provide the name of the sequential file that contains the IMS transaction data under DD statement APCINF.
