Thresholds for Reducing Measurement Activities

These thresholds can be used to reduce the overall number of measurement requests or to set a specific target that must be reached before a selected job becomes a candidate for measurement. The threshold values are set to the minimum levels of resource usage (minimum consumption threshold) that the job step must reach in order to be eligible for measurement for any reason.
