Job APCDJREO - Maintenance of Online Data Cluster

Job APCDJREO performs the following database maintenance functions:

• It deletes expired data according to its lifetime as defined by the general parameter called Delete data if older than. This parameter must be defined on the General Parameters panel in the Central Component.

Job APCDJREO has the following scheduling considerations:

• Exclusive control of all VSAM clusters is recommended but not required.
• It should be executed at least once a month; the middle of the month is recommended.
