IBM made a change to the ISGNQXITPREBATCH exit parameter list in z/OS 1.7 to aid in determining if a resource is to be managed globally by CA MIM. For a resource to be globally managed by an alternate serialization product (CA MII), this exit routine should set the NQPB_ER_AltSerExtended bit for the resource. This indication would then be returned on an ISGQUERY request, and/or on an ISGENQ TEST=YES request.
