How You Free or Remove Inactive Systems

If you have stopped CA MIM on a system or communication to a system has been lost, then the active CA MIM address spaces detect this and issue warning messages. The operator should determine whether it is appropriate to free or remove the inactive system from the MIMplex.

The FREE command is used to advise active CA MIM address spaces that a system has been temporarily removed from the MIMplex. The REMOVE command is used to permanently remove a system from the MIMplex.
