Managed resources are represented as transactions that need to be routed to all systems in the MIMplex. CA MIM has a variety of transaction types representing device allocations, resource access, cross-system messages and commands, systems status changes, and so on. CA MIM provides several communication methods to transport transactions throughout the MIMplex.
The type of control file communication method you select depends on your system configuration and the CA MIM facilities you intend to activate.
