2. System Overview

The design of CA MICS is based on a modular construction
that allows modifications to be made easily.  This chapter
presents an overview of the external and internal structure
of CA MICS for users who may need to modify the system. It is
necessary that a user have a good appreciation of this
structure before any attempt is made to modify CA MICS. In
addition, you should be familiar with the material presented
in the other CA MICS guides before undertaking any
modifications.
