The System Modification Guide relies on information contained
in other CA MICS guides. Before attempting to modify your
CA MICS system, you should have a good working knowledge of
the content of the other guides. In fact, the content of
some of these manuals may be affected by modifications you
make to your CA MICS system since some of the text in those
books is generated.
This manual is the CA MICS System Administrator's primary
reference for tailoring and modifying a CA MICS system.
NOTE: Please record all modifications made to CA MICS,
whether vendor maintenance or user modification, in
the CA MICS System Administrator Guide (SAG). To
ensure the smooth operation of CA MICS, the SAG should
contain an accurate record of changes applied to
CA MICS.
Due to the number of references made to the CA MICS
Planning, Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Guide, it
is referred to as the PIOM or PIOM Guide.
