5.1.2 VTOC Scan Overview


VTOC scan is comprised of a variable number of VCCVTOC
subtasks.  The number of subtasks is based on the number of
DASD paths available for distributing the VCC I/O load.  VCC
will default to eight subtasks.  You can directly specify
this number to a maximum of 32 by using the VTOCSUBT
parameter.
