2.4.6 DASD Multiple Volume Analysis Inquiry


Many installations are migrating to double density devices to
conserve floor space and reduce the cost per byte of their
secondary storage space.  However, you must give some thought
to the selection of the volumes to be mapped onto the dual
density devices, since significant performance problems can
result if busy volumes are mapped together.
