2.2 General Analysis Considerations


This section is a functional overview of IBM's Systems
Network Architecture (SNA) and an overview of TCP/IP
(Transport Communication Protocol/Internet Protocol).  It
provides you with a framework for the application of the CA
MICS data. This overview is presented from a data analysis
viewpoint and is not intended to be a comprehensive primer on
the SNA architecture or product line.
