5.4.3 Service Client File (WLMSVC)

The WLM recognizes subsystem address spaces that function as
transaction servers, such as CICS application owning regions
(AOR). Servers are managed to achieve the goals of the
transactions they are processing rather than the goals of the
service class with which they themselves are associated.

The Service Client File contains the names of all client
service classes served by transaction servers, and the number
of work requests or transactions served.

Information in the WLMSVC file is derived from the type 72
subtype 3 RMF Workload Activity and Storage Data record.

The following sections describe the file's organization, list
the data elements maintained, and provide usage hints.
