9.3 Help Panels in CMS


Online help is available in the CMS environment to assist in
the installation and operation of the VM Data Transfer
Program.

All Help files are generated from distributed files by the
VMTHLP EXEC.  The file types generated are:

    HELPMENU  -  provides a menu of topics.

    HELPTASK  -  provides information for setting up the VM
                 Data Transfer Program.

    HELPXMIT  -  provides specific information about a
                 selected topic.

    HELPVMT   -  provides specific information about tolls
                 provided with the VM Data Transfer Program
                 for maintenance and modification.

The primary entry for the Help facility is reached by
entering the command HELP TUTORIAL.

The primary menu in the Help facility can be reached by
entering the command HELP VMT.

In the menu display, submenu entries are shown with a leading
asterisk (*), and tutorial and general information entries
are shown with a leading colon (:).
