5.3.21.3 VMXLCP Usage Considerations


The VMXLCP File contains one observation per logical CPU
defined for each logical partition defined to the central
electronic complex per monitor interval.  This provides the
ability to view activity for each processor using data
generated externally from the VM/ESA system itself
and to view activity of each of the logical CPUs defined to
the central electronic complex.

The file provides logical processor activity data which
includes logical processor dispatch time and the time spent
managing the partition to which logical processor pertains.
In addition, it provides the physical processor time spent
managing the physical configuration, which is included in a
special partition called PHYSICAL.
