5.3.18.3 VMXCDI Usage Considerations

The VMXCDI File contains one observation per device per
storage director in each 3880-13 or 3880-23 controller and
one observation per device in each 3990-3 controller that is
monitored.  This provides the ability to view activity for
both storage directors in the controller independently or to
combine them to view total activity for a volume.
