5.3.11 VMX User Activity Data Files (VMXVXU and VMX_VU)

The VMX User Activity Sample Data File (VMXVXU) quantifies
the resource consumption of each virtual machine, based on
sampling.


It is derived mainly from data in VM/ESA Monitor domain 4,
record 3; domain 3, record 10; and optionally from domain 4,
record 2 if user event data is collected in a VM/ESA Release
2 or later system.  Additional user configuration information
is derived from domain 1, record 15 and domain 4, record 1.


The VMX User Activity Event Data File (VMX_VU) quantifies the
resource consumption of each virtual machine at interaction
end.


It is derived from VM/ESA Monitor data, domain 4, record 9.
Additional user configuration information is derived from
domain 1, record 15 and domain 4, record 1.
