5.3.8.3 VMXACF Usage Considerations

Special considerations or techniques related to using the
VMXACF file are provided below:

o  The VMXACF is a spin file that contains one observation
   per area on CP owned volumes at monitor initialization
   data, and one observation for each time a new area is
   brought online while the monitor is running.

o  Only one cycle exists in the detail timespan.  This file
   contains observations from several runs of the DAILY job.
   Each cycle is identified by the element VMXAGE.  VMXAGE is
   1 for the current cycle, 2 for the previous cycle,
   etc.  The VMXAGE element can be used to match a particular
   VMXACF observation with a cycle of the VMXCPV file.
