3.3.2 Weekly VM Reports
The weekly objective reports provide management with a way to
determine whether the primary VM processing objectives are
being attained. One-page charts illustrate the day's
activity by prime-time hour within day of the week in
reference to the established hourly objectives for response,
command load, resource consumption, and availability.
An hour-of-the-day selection facility is provided, so that
the weekly reports may reflect the entire 24 hours of each
day, or any user-specified range.
The only user option that applies to this report is the
Hourly Selection Range for Weekly Reports, which is the start
and end hours of the day that are to be included in the
Weekly VM Reports. It is suggested that the hours be set to
include the prime time period of the day (e.g., 08 18).
&VMCWLHR and &VMCWHHR defines the low and high hours of the
day for selection of the VM activity to be reported in the
weekly reports. Therefore, to define hour 08 as the lowest
hour to be selected and hour 18 as the highest, code:
%LET VMCWLHR = 08;
%LET VMCWHHR = 18;
A full description of the user options is provided in Section
