3.3.1 Daily VM Reports
The daily objective reports provide management a way to
determine whether the primary VM processing objectives are
being attained. One-page charts illustrate the day's
activity by hour in reference to the established hourly
objectives for response, throughput, resource consumption,
and availability.
An hour-of-the-day selection facility is provided so that
these daily reports may reflect either the entire 24 hours or
a user-specified range.
Hourly Selection Range for Daily Reports: The start and end
hours of the day that are to be included in the Daily VMC
Reports. We recommend that the hours be set to include the
entire day (i.e., 00 23).
&VMCDLHR and &VMCDHHR defines the low and high hours of the
day for selection of the VM activity to be reported in the
daily reports. Therefore, to set the hours to include the
entire day, code the following:
