7.17 Journal Run Status Log File (ACTRSJ)


The Journal Run Status Log Files retain information about the
journal files created by daily processing, such as the run
time stamp when they were created by the DAY199 step of the
DAILY job, and the billing timestamp and charges for each
computation code.

COSTCTR values are not kept in the log, but the charges are
categorized by billing status and an application unit
identifier can be assigned to each record.

There is one log for each unit stored as a SAS file in
DAYS.ACTRSJ01 and also in the ACTRSJu, where u is a unit id,
ISPF table.

The Journal Run Status Log Files provide input to the Daily
Revenue Analysis workstation information.


USAGE CONSIDERATIONS

The Journal Run Status Log File contains information about
the journal files created by the DAILY processing job.  The
information provides input to Daily IS Revenue Analysis on
the workstation and is used to create ISPF tables which can
be viewed online from the Enterprise IS Financial Reporting
Process Control Menu (MWF;4;2;4;5;1;1).

Options that affect the contents of the Journal Run Status
Logs are accessed from the Accounting Options Menu Journal
Run Status Log Options (MWF;4;2;3;2;6).
