The CA MICS Information Center Facility (MICF) allows you to access and manipulate data in the CA MICS database. MICF minimizes your need to write SAS code and, since you write less code, minimizes SAS syntax errors. MICF also provides automatic validation procedures that prevent you from attempting to analyze data elements that do not exist in the files you request. The MICF inquiries provided with the CA MICS Accounting and Chargeback are listed in Figure 6-33,and the EISFR inquiries are documented in 6.7.
