Once you define Special Day Classes, you can use one or more classes in combination as scheduling constraints for jobs. Defining Special Day constraints for jobs is supported in all the user interfaces of the manager.
You can provide scheduling restraints for jobs by associating a Special Day Restriction Expression with a job-specifier. A Special Day Restriction Expression is a list of one or more Special Day Classes that defines one of the following:
The job-specifier can be a specific job name or use wildcards in the job name. The job-specifier can include a GROUP or TYPE indicator. For example:
SCHEDULE> MODIFY JOBX/GROUP=BATCH - _SCHEDULE> /SD_RESTRICTION=(COMPANY_HOLIDAYS,PLANT_SHUTDOWNDAYS) - _SCHEDULE> /NOT_ON
