OpenVMS Delta Time

Some Job Management Manager commands use qualifiers that require you to specify time intervals using OpenVMS delta time. Here is the format for OpenVMS delta time:

dddd-hh:mm:ss.cc

• dddd – Days
• hh – Hours
• mm – Minutes
• ss – Seconds
• cc – Hundredths of a second

Note: At the DCL prompt, the /MAX_TIME and /STALL_TIME qualifiers require use of OpenVMS delta time; in all other interfaces, including the shell, these qualifiers use Job Management Manager delta time.
