Accessing Jobs on Remote Nodes

To perform an operation on a remote node, you must have authorized access to an account on that node. You also must have the appropriate privileges to perform the specified command.

There are three ways to access jobs on remote nodes:

• Specify your default proxy account on the remote node. You must have a default proxy account on that node. For example:

XYZ::WEEKLY-RENAME

• Specify the remote node and a username for a particular proxy account in quotation marks. You must have a proxy account on that node. For example:

XYZ"SMITH"::WEEKLY-RENAME=DOE

• Specify the remote node and an access control string within quotation marks. For example:

XYZ"DOE MYPASSWORD"::WEEKLY-RENAME
