Introduction

The COMPUTE statement inserts arithmetic instructions and conditional logic into the CA JARS Wizard run. These instructions are executed for each record as it is processed.

COMPUTE instructions can be inserted at various points in the processing cycle. Several suffix codes are used to specify these points.
