This report summarizes by hour the activity of the TVC (Tape Volume Cache) of the VTS. It shows the maximum and average time in seconds used to complete a mount request on a virtual drive in the last hour. The performance is considered to be satisfactory if the maximum virtual mount time is less than or equal to 300 seconds, and the average mount time is less than or equal to 30 seconds. It also shows the maximum and average time in seconds that a virtual tape was mounted in.
The 6th column shows the percentage of mounts that were not satisfied by the Tape Volume Cache. If the number of cache misses is less than 20%, the performance is considered to be satisfactory.
The data flow is represented by the last columns.
Note: Some values may be printed as zero when Advanced Policy Management is installed and enabled. The use of APM is indicated by YES in the header after FC4001.
