Configure Password Expiration

To help manage user access, you can define events such as multiple failed login attempts or account inactivity. When these events occur, CA IdentityMinder disables the user account that is responsible. When CA IdentityMinder is integrated with SiteMinder, you can specify a redirection.

Note: These settings require additional configuration. See Enable Additional Password Policies.

You can configure the following settings for password expiration:

• Track Failed/Successful Logins Check Box
• Authenticate on Login Tracking Failure Check Box
• Password Expires if Not Changed Settings
• Password Expires from Inactivity Settings
• Incorrect Password Settings
