System Recommendations

A typical CA IdentityMinder development system on Windows, as recommended by CA, has the following components on three separate disk drives:

• The Microsoft Windows operating system (on drive C:)
• The Provisioning Server (on drive D:)
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
• The Provisioning SDK and custom connectors (on drive E:)

This is to optimize the combination of running an X.500 server CA Directory and Provisioning Server on the same host.
