Servers

A typical CA IdentityMinder installation includes the following servers:

CA IdentityMinder Server

Executes tasks within CA IdentityMinder. The CA IdentityMinderr application includes the Management Console and the User Console.

Provisioning Server

Manages accounts on endpoint systems. This is required if the CA IdentityMinder installation supports account provisioning.

Note: You must have the Provisioning Directory installed remotely (or locally for a demonstration environment only) on a CA Directory Server before installing the Provisioning Server.
