Restart the Application Server

The restart refreshes the application server with the changes. Validate that the switch was successful and that a proper connection to the SiteMinder Policy Server exists.

Follow these steps:

  1. If your application server is running as a service, use the services panel to restart CA IdentityMinder.
  2. After the application server is running, refer to the server.log to validate that a connection was made without errors during "Startup Step 2: Attempting to start PolicyServerService.
