Activate JDBC Sybase Vendor Support

To connect to a Sybase endpoint, CA IAM CS requires a file from the Sybase SDK for JDBC. You must also have a license for Sybase.

Follow these steps:

1. Download jConnect for JDBC 6.0.5 from http://www.sybase.com or from your Sybase product media.

   The download includes the following archive:

   jConnect-6_05.zip 
   

2. Extract the following file from the archive:

   jConnect-6_0\classes\jconn3.jar
   

3. Copy the JAR file into the following locations:

   cs_home/extlib/

   conxp_home/lib/

4. Stop and restart the CA IAM CS service.
5. Stop and restart all Connector Xpress sessions.
