Runtime Components Tuning

Business changes in Identity Manager are accomplished through tasks. A task includes one or more events, which represent activities that Identity Manager performs to complete the task. For example, a Create User task may include the CreateUserEvent and the the AddToGroupEvent.

Identity Manager includes the following components, which process tasks and events at runtime:

• Identity Manager databases, which support Identity Manager functionality
• JMS messages, which are responsible for processing events
