Individual Entrust Profile Approach

You must acquire the Entrust Authority Security Manager System before you can administer it with CA Identity Manager. This lets you join Entrust users' domain with Admin Global Users' domain into one domain to enable centralized administration.

To manage the Entrust target system, the Identity Manager administrator must have an account on the Entrust System with administrative privileges and have a profile (.epf file) and password to protect the profile. This information must be assigned as properties of the Global User who represents the Administrator that is going to manage the Entrust system using the PKI Connector.

The Entrust PKI Domain Access tab of the Global Users Property Sheet lets you define Global User's credentials to access Entrust Systems by specifying the hostname where the system is located and the profile that was assigned to the Global User's account on this system. The password that is assigned to the Global User must match exactly the password that is used to protect the Entrust profile.
