How to Configure Support for Localization
To configure the system to use a translated version of CA Identity Manager, you perform the following steps:
- Verify that the system hosting CA Identity Manager meets the prerequisites defined in Localization Prerequisites.
- If CA Identity Manager integrates with SiteMinder, configure the SiteMinder Web Agent for localization.
- If CA Identity Manager runs on a JBoss application server, modify the Tomcat server.xml file.
- Configure the PATH Variable.
- Complete one of the following steps:
- If you are using one of the sample localized Environments, go to How to Use the Sample Localized Environments.
CA Identity Manager installs translated versions of the User Console and online help in the following languages:
- French
- German
- Italian
- Korean
- Japanese
- Polish
- Simplified Chinese
- Spanish
You can use these files as installed, or use these files as a template to create a custom Environment in one of these languages.
- If you want to translate CA Identity Manager into a language for which a sample is not available, or you want to translate a highly customized Environment, go to How to Create Custom Localization Files.
- Translate the following additional components, as needed:
