Lotus Notes/Domino Connector
The Lotus Notes/Domino Connector lets you administer accounts and groups on Lotus Notes/Domino servers and provides a single point for all user administration by letting you do the following:
- Register multiple endpoints, explore them for objects to manage, and correlate their accounts with global users
- Create and manage Lotus Notes/Domino accounts using Lotus Notes/Domino‑specific account templates
- Create and manage Lotus Notes/Domino groups and organizational units
- Activate accounts in one place
- Synchronize global users with their roles or synchronize global users' accounts with their account templates
- Assign Lotus Notes/Domino endpoints to your Lotus Notes/Domino endpoints
- Use the default Endpoint Type account template to create accounts with the minimum level of security needed to access the Lotus Notes/Domino endpoints
- Recertify, rename, and move Lotus Notes/Domino accounts in the hierarchy
- Generate and print reports about Lotus Notes Domino accounts and groups
The Lotus Notes/Domino Connector uses the inherent object model and administrative processes underlying the Lotus Notes/Domino product. The next sections introduce the native Lotus Notes/Domino object model, the security application databases, and the administrative processes used by the Lotus Notes/Domino Connector to perform user management.
The following versions of the endpoint software are supported:
- Version 6.5 (6.5.3 or later)
- Version 7
