ETAUTIL Tool

You can use the ETAUTIL tool to sync with the account template. To relocate an account to the Organizational Unit according to the account template by running the following command:

etautil -d <domain> -u <user> -p <pass> UPDATE '<ADS Policies Base DN> eTADSPolicy eTADSPolicyName='<policyName>' to eTRelocateAccounts='1'

For example:

etautil -d sup154 -u etaadmin -p adminadmin UPDATE 'eTADSPolicyContainerName=Active Directory Policies,eTNamespaceName=CommonObjects' eTADSPolicy eTADSPolicyName='ADSAccountPolicy1' to eTRelocateAccounts='1'
