Step 1. Transfer the Necessary Files

Transfer the necessary files under the /RemoteAgent/Unix/Others directory of your installation CD.

The /RemoteAgent/Unix/Others directory contains the following compressed tar format file:

Tar Format File

UNIX Server Type and Version

NCR_V1.07_20051107_Build220_16.tar.Z

NCR/mpras SVR4 Version 3.02

Transfer the agent.ins, agent.tar.Z, and the compressed tar format CAM file from the installation CD to your UNIX server in a temporary directory, for example, “/tmp”.

Note: If you use an ftp utility to transfer these files, set the binary transfer option.
