Provisioning roles define the job functions in your organization using one or more account templates. You can use account templates to control the generation or removal of accounts, initialization of new accounts, and global synchronization of certain account characteristics. Therefore, provisioning roles and account templates let you manage endpoints without having to keep track of the individual user accounts.
