Configure the CAM and CAFT Service

CAFTHOST must be configured to recognize the Provisioning Server and the CA Identity Manager clients. To configure CAFTHOST, follow these steps:

  1. Issue the following command:
    $ CAFTHOST -a Windows_node_name
    
    Windows_node_name

    Represents the name of the Provisioning Server.

    Note: If the Provisioning Server is networked using DHCP or you do not use DNS for name resolution, the network name is not recognized. Under these conditions, use the TCP/IP address for the Windows node name or add a Windows node entry in the local hosts file on your OpenVMS system.

  2. Issue the following command:
    $ CAFTHOST -l
