To export Admin role and task definitions
If changes were made directly to the roledefinition.xml file, this file can be directly imported into the production environment. Otherwise, to export the role and task definitions:
- If you have a Policy Server cluster, check that only one Policy Server is running.
- Stop all but one Identity Manager node.
- Log into the Management Console.
- Click Identity Manager environments.
- Select the Identity Manager environment, from which to export the role and task definitions.
- Click Roles, then click Export and supply a name for the file.
- Follow the instructions in the next procedure to import this file.
