The following is an example that provides high availability for the Identity Manager Server, Provisioning Server, Provisioning Directory, and SiteMinder Policy Server. The use of alternate components and clusters provide the high availability features.
In addition to illustrating high availability, this figure shows the different platforms used for the components compared to the SiteMinder illustration. For example, the database uses Oracle instead of Microsoft SQL Server, which appeared in the previous illustration.
