Changing to a new version of JBoss requires a migration of the Identity Manager server, including steps for uninstalling the Identity Manager server, installing the new version of the Identity Manager server, then migrating the data.
The following procedures describe how to set up multiple JBoss application servers with the same Identity Manager application on each server. In this type of cluster, each JBoss application server acts independently of the other application servers, but they share the load through JMS messaging.
