If you intend to upgrade the Identity Manager server and keep Weblogic at 10.3 or 11, you can upgrade by starting the installation program. However, you can also migrate your installation from Weblogic 10.3 to 11 to gain the advantage of a 64-bit application server.
If you have WebLogic 8.1 or 9.2, you need to migrate the Identity Manager server to Weblogic 11 to work with CA Identity Manager r12.5 SP8.
