How to Enable the Salesforce.com Connector

To use the Salesforce.com connector, you must enable the connector after you install CA Identity Manager.

To enable the connector, do the following:

1. Install or upgrade the Java CS computer.

   During the Java CS installation, the Java Connector Server registers with the provisioning server. The installation process creates the Salesforce.com endpoint and populates it with its associated metadata.

2. Enable secure communications between the Salesforce.com connector and the Salesforce.com cloud.
3. Restart the Java CS computer.

   Communication between the Salesforce.com connector and Salesforce.com is enabled.
