Install the Online Help

CA Identity Manager includes translated online help for each translated version of the User Console.

To install a translated version of the online help

1. Navigate to the following location from a command prompt:
   • For Windows:

     C:\Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\IAM Suite\Identity Manager\tools\samples\Localization\language

   • For Solaris:

     /opt/CA/IdentityManager/IAM_Suite/Identity_Manager/tools/samples/Localization/language

   In these paths, language specifies the language that you want to use.

2. Copy the im_help.zip file for the appropriate language as follows:

   copy im_help.zip iam_im.ear\user_console.war\

   iam_im.ear

   The deployed location of the Identity Manager application on the application server.

   Note: Consider creating a backup copy of the default online help before replacing it with a translated version. The default online help is overwritten by the translated version.

3. Unzip the im_help.zip in the user_console.war directory.

   The translated version of the online help is available for use.
