Use the Forgotten Password Feature

Perform the following procedure to use the forgotten password feature.

To use the forgotten password feature

  1. Type the following URL in a browser: 
    http://hostname/idm/neteautopublic/index.jsp?task.tag=ForgottenPasswordReset
    hostname

    Defines the fully qualified domain name of the system where Identity Manager is running.

  2. Type the unique identifier for the self-registered user that you created in Register as a New User, and click Next.
  3. Each time that you are prompted, answer the verification question that you provided when you registered.
  4. Click Submit.

    CA Identity Manager prompts you to supply a new password.
