Symptom:
I created a CA DLP account with Japanese characters in CA Identity Manager. When I try to view or modify a CA DLP account with Japanese characters in CA Identity Manager, I get I get an error message that starts with Not a valid IAM handle, and then contains unintelligible characters.
Solution:
The account is created successfully in CA Identity Manager, however CA Identity Manager is unable to display the account. However, you can view the account successfully in the Provisioning Manager.
To display CA DLP accounts created with Japanese characters, in the CA Identity Manager User Console, configure the Tomcat server.xml file for UTF-8 encoding for URI.
Note: For more information about configuring the Tomcat server for UTF-8 encoding for URI, see Change Tomcat server.xml in the CA Identity Manager User Console Design Guide.
