Symptom:
When I create a CA DLP account and exceed the maximum character length for Group or Address attribute, the account creation fails.
I get an error message similar to the following:
DYN Account 'user123' on 'MyDirectory' creation failed: Connector Server Add failed: code 80 (OTHER-ProvisioningServicesException): failed to add entry eTDYNAccountName=user123,eTDYNAccountContainerName=DLP Accounts,eTDYNDirectoryName=MyDirectory,eTNamespaceName=CA DLP,dc=im,dc=etasa: There were 2 errors during the provisioning process
Solution:
The maximum length per group path component in the Group attribute is 64 characters.
The maximum length of the Addresses attribute is 255 characters.
If you exceed the Group or Address attribute character limits when you create an account, the account creation fails.
Note: For more information about the error message, see the CA DLP account import logs and the CA DLP Deployment Guide.
To fix the problem, edit the Group or Address attributes so that they do not exceed the specified character limits, then create the account again.
