If the CA IAM Connector Servers is down or it is heavily loaded, the Password Synchronization Agent can fail over to another server. Failover requires that multiple CA IAM Connector Servers serve the same domain and the Agent uses those servers.
The section configuring the agent to use alternate servers provides the configuration instructions.
